AWARDS PROCESS

About the Awards
The TechRadar Awards 2026 will award products and brands that have been deemed the best in their field as voted for by the public and our judging panel, respectively. The TechRadar Reader’s Choice Awards winners will be chosen 100% based on public votes on shortlists chosen by TechRadar’s editors. The TechRadar Product of the Year Awards winners are chosen by TechRadar’s judges solely.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the TechRadar Awards 2026, products need to be released after September 1, 2025, and before September 30, 2026. The following categories are exceptions to these dates, and products must only be available before September 30, 2026: Best Gaming Service, and all Streaming categories. Products also need to be available for us to review if necessary – if we cannot review a product, it will not be considered for an award.

Categories
The confirmed categories are listed on this site. Future reserves the right to remove a category at any time. All listed categories apply to both awards.

Nominations
The public can nominate brands to be included for consideration for the shortlists of the TechRadar Awards. Nominations will close at 11:59pm BST on August 17, 2026. Nominations will be accepted via our TechRadar Awards website www.techradarchoiceawards.com. To nominate you will simply need to select the category and insert the brand and product name. There is no limit on the number of nominations.

Shortlisting
Our editors will review all the nominations after the close date of August 17, 2026. Shortlists will be chosen by our editors from the nominations, as well as their own experience of the industry. There will be a maximum of 10 shortlisted products per category, but there may be less than this number.

Winner Selection
The TechRadar Readers’ Choice Awards and the TechRadar Product of the Year Awards will have different methods of winner selection. The Readers’ Choice Awards winners will be chosen based on whichever product from the shortlist has obtained the most votes through the public voting system, running from 14th September to 28th September. (We reserve the right to alter these dates.) The Product of the Year Awards will be chosen solely by our judging team, consisting of TechRadar editors and writers, based on their experience of testing products.
